All Sit & Gos are now at one of the following buy-in levels: $1, $3, $5, $10, $20, $30, $50, $100, $200, $300, $500, $1000, $2000, $5000 and $10,000.While some players may miss playing the exact buy-in that they are used to, the new progression ensures that players who prefer each buy-in level will have equal opportunity to play the tournament of their choice. In addition, the standardized buy-in levels will make it easier to view all available tournament options at a particular level. In the past, the rake structure included several logical inconsistencies and anomalies. Rake is now applied in a consistent way, with higher buy-in tournaments having progressively lower rake percentages. Some tournament formats, such as Fifty50, have a lower rake percentage than their equivalent ‘standard’ Sit & Go but they maintain the same rake progression for higher buy-ins. Overall rake is slightly lower than before.
